The Amber Rose Awareness Walk, the inaugural event for the Amber Rose Foundation, was born from a monumental event that took place in 2011 when the word slut exploded into a new but disturbing context after a Toronto police officer told a crowd of college women that ‘if they wanted to avoid sexual assault, they should not dress like sluts.’ This event sparked a worldwide campaign that inspired men and women to start “slut walks” or “awareness walks” across the country. As an avid neo-feminist, socialite Amber Rose decided to host her own walk to fight against sexual injustice, victim blaming, derogatory labeling and gender inequality.

In April of 2015, Amber Rose Foundation approached Sax Inc. to launch its flagship event in Downtown Los Angeles and act as the project managers, brand managers and event coordinators. Sax has been retained again to put on this spectacular event in 2016. More details to follow. Please visit www.amberroseslutwalk.com for more details.
